Highway Department

Jerauld County Highway Department is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of  31 miles of oil roads and  229 miles of gravel roads plus some townships, for a total of 260 miles. Also included in repairs and maintenance are 26 bridges in Jerauld County. The highway superintendent is appointed by the Board of Commissioners. Jerauld County Highway Department employs individuals to provide this valuable service.
